Our mission: power the move to onchain finance.
Finance is moving onchain. Stablecoins, tokenized funds, and tokenized stocks are the first wave. Payments, payroll, and most flows of money will follow.
We started with a hard part of that shift: knowing who is owed what, and paying them. Merkl is now the most efficient money streaming infrastructure onchain, used by stablecoin issuers, tokenized funds, fintechs, and DeFi protocols.
Next, we take these tools further: onchain payments, payroll, and the money flows that do not exist yet. Our goal is to make Merkl a pivotal layer of onchain finance.
Read our storyWhy Merkl
Financial infrastructure
Merkl computes and pays yield, dividends, and rewards for companies like Coinbase, Robinhood, and PayPal. Real money, at scale
Category leader
The global leader in onchain money streaming: $1.8B+ paid out to 5M+ wallets on 60+ chains
Independent
We set our own roadmap and take the long view, focused on our clients rather than on hype
Room to grow
Tokenization and onchain payments are just starting. Joining now means taking ownership early
Our values
We are organized around three values. They guide how we build the product, how we make decisions, and how we work with our partners.
Sobriety
We take a long-term view. We stay grounded and modest, avoid excess, and keep building whatever the market does.
Reliability
Partners trust us with their resources. Each of us takes responsibility for our work, keeps commitments, and learns from mistakes.
Agility
We set priorities and adapt. We know when the 20% of effort that yields 80% of the result is enough, and when a problem needs the extra mile.
How we work
We work like a sports team rather than a family: a small group of people who are very good at what they do, committed to one goal, and who count on each other. AI is built into how we work, so a team of 20 moves like a much bigger one.
Context, not control
We share the goal and the context, and trust you to choose the path. Nobody micromanages, and nobody re-does your work behind you.
Ownership
Every project has one owner, accountable for its outcome. The best teammates go beyond the brief and flag early when something slips.
Write it down
Decisions, designs and post-mortems live in writing. Work talk happens in public channels, so context is there for everyone, and meetings stay small.
Candid feedback
Regular 1-1s, direct feedback both ways, and an open door to challenge how we organize. When you hold a conviction, we expect you to push for it.
Quality over speed
We value autonomy and quality over raw speed. A review is never a rubber stamp, and security is everyone's job.
AI-native by default
AI coding agents are part of everyone's daily work, whichever one you prefer, and our own MCP servers connect them to our data and tooling through sanctioned routes. The time they save goes into understanding more of the system, not only shipping more code.
Meet the team
Merkl is a team of 20 people based in Paris. We have been building together since 2021, first as Angle Labs, now as Merkl.
Engineers, researchers, designers, product managers, marketers, and sales profiles, trained at some of the most selective schools in Europe and the US. You'll work with them on problems nobody has solved before.
