Can I delegate my reward claiming to another address?

By default, rewards can only be claimed by the address that earned them.

However, you can allow another address to claim on your behalf. The claim transaction will be executed by this other address, but rewards will still be sent to your original address that earned them. Only the transaction execution is delegated.

For example, assuming Alice earned the rewards:

• by default, only Alice can claim and rewards are sent to Alice.
• however, Alice can allow Bob to claim on her behalf. Bob then claims for Alice by interacting with the Merkl contract, and rewards are sent to Alice.

This feature is useful if you want to set up bots that automatically claim for you when gas prices are low, for instance.

To set up claim delegation, go to the Dashboard page and open the Advanced claim settings by clicking the three-dot menu. Then select the Claim on your behalf option and fill in the required fields.
